With a Kiwi father and Japanese mother, Mark de Clive-Lowe was born a nomad. As a pianist he is clearly under the influence of jazz although he stresses his feeling of not belonging to any one clan more than another. With a debut album "Six Degrees" just out, we caught up with him in Paris during his tour. Rather chatty and anything but dumb, he gave us his low-down on topics as varied as spirituality in Japan and Miles Davis.
