The 7th edition of DLA Film Festival runs until 7 Dec with a rich selection of features, shorts and documentaries from all over Latin America and the Caribbean screening at various cinemas and arts centres across London. Highlights include the award winning My name ain‘t Johnny (Meu nome não é Johnny) Brazil, 2008 directed by Mario Lima and Walter Doehner’s Teo’s Journey (El Viaje de Teo)Mexico 2008. All proceeds go to Progressio – supporting women affected by HIV and AIDS in the Dominican Republic.
